1 person dies when truck catches fire and explodes outside Trump’s Las Vegas hotel

LAS VEGAS – A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday when a Tesla truck caught fire and exploded outside the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas, resulting in one fatality and seven injuries.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police and Clark County Fire Department, the incident was reported at 8:40 a.m. in the valet area of the hotel. Authorities confirmed that the deceased person was found inside the vehicle, and efforts were underway to retrieve the body.

Seven people nearby sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The cause of the fire and explosion remains unknown, with officials acknowledging that details are sketchy and no cause has been determined. Jeremy Schwartz, the acting FBI Special Agent in Charge for the Las Vegas office, stated, “I know you have a lot of questions. We don’t have a lot of answers.”
